Transitioning from Kingdom to Empire in the year 2257, the Empire of Berphaunt is the largest imperial power on Arthos. They seek to unite all nations under their banner.
The Whiteraven Alliance
Founded by sacred accord in 2258, the Whiteraven Alliance is a group of nations bonded in unity against the expanding reign of the Empire of Berphaunt. They seek peace, protection, and freedom for their individual citizens.

The Blood Red Rose
The Blood Red Rose is an ancient secular organization found in nearly every land and kingdom of Arthos. They serve as an incorruptible knightly order whose sole purpose is the protection of the weak and the innocent; farmers, labourers, and those oppressed by tyrannical rulers. They defend those who cannot defend themselves.
The Conclave
Located within the imperial capital of Berphaunt, the Conclave is arguably the most powerful and well-known Mages Guild in all of Maud’madir. From the confines of their gleaming towers, they are the continent’s foremost authority on all matters of the arcane.
The Iron Company
The Iron Company is the preeminent Mercenary Guild of Maud’madir, and while they are most prominent in the Empire of Berphaunt, their Chapter Houses can be found in nearly every land and nation-state across the continent.

Once serving as the Inquisitor General of the Citadel in 2262 alongside the then Archbishop Roderick Hale, Asher was revealed to be a demonic monster in mortal disguise; the King of Demons.
Prince Leopold Tiefanue
Once the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Tiefanue, Leopold sacrificed himself to end the eternal life of the Black Wytch in 2265, forever annihilating the holy bloodline of Tiefanue from the face of Arthos.
Roderick Hale
Roderick Hale went from simple parish priest to Archbishop over the entirety of the Church of Light, swiftly becoming one of the most powerful theological forces on Arthos. His demise was just as swift, when it was revealed his "holy" powers were granted not by the Pantheon of Light, but by the Hell King's diabolical deceptions.
