Greetings, my name is Quintus Brack, and for months I have fumbled trying to find a god to follow. However, it has come to my attention that perhaps I have been looking in the wrong place, whereas I should have been considering the Firstborn. Of those I have heard of, Tezoth seems the most appealing to myself. I would like to speak with some of his followers on exactly what following him entails, although information on others, or the Firstborn in general would not be turned down either. Please feel free to contact me here, or to send a private letter if you would prefer that.
- Quintus Brack
Hello Quintus, my name is Joren. I am not personally a follower of Tezoth but I am from the island he calls home, Dominion, so I believe I'm qualified to talk about this.
Tezoth the Gold is known for being an ideal of justice, honour, and compassion among the Firstborn. I could go on for quite some time about followers of his that have failed at some of those ideals but for brevity's sake I'll simply say that it's a lot harder to do and look good than it is to do and look evil. A common practice used by the more devoted followers that I've heard of but unfortunately not seen is when doing good in the world to only take what is offered and to never ask for a silver more, and to give all but what you need to Tezoth.
Now, going in roundabout alphabetical order:
Zsiera the White believes in survival. She is often known for being the 'cannibal dragon' but that is an overstatement (But not exactly a misunderstanding) based on the fact that in the cold dark of Jormunger to survive one eats what one must.
Ahriman the Orange I'm not particularly knowledgeable about unfortunately, all I do know is that he is known to keep the elemental titans in check and I believe he has the Orb of Madness, though I don't have anything to back that up.
Doranth the Blue focuses on the acclimation of knowledge, especially about magic. If you are familiar with stories of the Dreamleaf at the beginning of time you may be aware that Doranth is most likely attempting to reclaim the magic that was lost when Salam threw himself into the heart of magic that was the Dreamleaf. If you plan to follow Doranth you better start studying.
Essylt the Purple is very often called the Fae Firstborn, given her very intense connection with the fae. Again I find myself falling short of knowledge (Though I can't help but think of purple sparkles), so the best I can offer is to be fae-like and to accumulate favours.
Ilyxtriax the Grey, is the Firstborn of Storms. They believe that civilization beyond small tribal is the true way to live, as civilization brings weakness and corruption.
Ixiad the Red and Black, the Spider Firstborn, is focused on the making of deals. Many reflexively recoil from that word from it's association with demons, but you must keep in mind that every agreement you make is a deal of sorts, from buying and selling to diplomacy to agreeing to help someone out in exchange for a meal. That does not mean she doesn't have a connection to demons and dark fae, just that the worst of something isn't its entirety.
(Maybe I shouldn't have tried to cover all of the Firstborn on Maud'Madir but I've come this far, can't stop now)
Nidhogg the Brown lives at the base of the World Tree and seeks to destroy it by eating its roots, and nearly succeeded a few years back. This may be because of the gods living on the Tree, but at the end of the day he's trying to destroy the world.
Physignathus the Aquamarine is one of the few, if not the only, Firstborn who cannot fly. She can, however, swim faster than anything on Arthos, possibly anything in reality. Aside from her connection to the ocean, Physignathus believes in the rule of hospitality, and the rights and rules offered to and required by both guest and host.
Rathenoch the Red is more warlike than the other Firstborn in the traditional sense, he and his followers seek out fights, conquest, and tribute.
Shiloth the Shadow works in the Shadows (very intentional) to control things, pulling political strings and manipulating people to further her goals. If any powerful people you were aware of disappeared last year, it's because they worked for her and she was done.
Styphon the Black is known across the continent for his connection to Necromancy, and while it's true that he practices that magic, it is well recorded that he does not do it for Necromancy's sake as malagant does, but for it's usefulness in his war against the Church of Light.
There are more Firstborn across this plane and all the others, and many who have died since the dawn of time, but those are the ones that are best known to us (Or at least to me).

Sorry, I fumbled my words when describing Ilyxtriax.
Ilyxtriax the Grey is the Firstborn of Storms. They believe that small close-knit tribes are the only true way to live, as civilization brings weakness and corruption.

Mr. Zjafacz, I find myself agreeing with a fair amount of what you say as it goes in hand with why I left Tezoth's land in the first place. However, I can't help but take notice of what Tezoth did to you personally. As you may or may not know, Tezoth's breath weapon forces its victim to feel the full weight of all the pain they've committed to others. While even the most kind person would find themselves overwhelmed only the truly terrible are killed, and even fewer driven to Final Death. I suggest you consider what this means about you and your influence on the world around you.
