I write this missive in the hopes that this news reaches every follower of the Savage Gods and those who hold nature dear, whether they be Druid, Ranger, or simply one who has taken up the stewardship of Arthos as their great passion in life.

The Brown Dragon, Nidhogg, has begun his return.

In recent months those who live within Jericho's borders have a number of terrible truths. The Therian spirits who guarded the World Tree are gone, and likely killed at that. In their absence, the cycle of Nidhogg's return has been quickened. A tree we tend to with a connection to the World Tree has been under attack by and endless stream of strange, brown, lizard-like creatures who have been gnawing away at its life-force. Warnings have come from all directions that he is coming.

We are doing what we can to slow his progress and learn more. His presence is felt more and more each day, and the signs are becoming bolder. Information is being gathered by the Wreath of Jericho, a collection of those who act as guardians to nature within Jericho's lands, and by the Savage community within our town. I will do my best to relay more news as it becomes known to us if that's what is wished by those scattered across Arthos.

If you have any ties to the World Tree I urge you to be watchful for signs of corruption or Nidhogg's influence. If you have questions about what has transpired so far, please ask them below my missive so I or my allies can answer you. Please be warned that we only know so much. Many of our warnings about what has happened to allow this return have been ominously vague and pieced together over time, but I can promise you that this threat is real.
