Your favourite wild elf swashbuckler Olo'ren would like to re-invite you all on High Winter for the very first ever

Are you a new adventure wishing to show your sword-fighting skills and duel with your fellow friend, or acquaintance, or that guy you can't wait to teach a lesson?

Can you wield a sword from the grip without pocking your own eyes off? 

Then the NAFT is for you!

If you are an experienced adventurer or just don't know how to stick a sword in to a target, come cheer for your friends!

Rules are simple:

1. You need to be new adventurers [lev 5 or below, preferably with a year or less of experience] and able to use a sword [Weapon Group Proficiency: Med]. Duh! 
2. You can only duel using one sword. Fair and square. No other weapons, skills, shield, magic tricks, dirt in the eyes and so on.
3. You swing to tap not to hurt [no damage calls, control your swings]. We don't want to give the blacksmiths and hospital extra work.
4. The NAFT is a single-elimination tournament. Each winner of a duel another one until there is only one left. 
5. A duel has 3 rounds: who scores first 5 hits wins a round; who wins two rounds wins the duel. 
6. A hit counts only on the arms, shoulders, torso, legs and back.

The winner of the NAFT will receive:

• My personal recommendation to Spirits of High Winter to be granted the honour to be next year wielder of Ticker Sword, the magic sword that passes on to new adventures every year on High Winter. You might have seen it with me, it looks like a giant wooden clock hand. 
• The honour to become my apprentice as Swashbuckler, if they wish.
• A special price in form of a useful item, my treat.
