This question seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle, so I'm asking it again on our shiny new forums.
In the core rule book, garrottes can't be augmented because of the following rule.
"Garrottes are considered tools, not weapons, and cannot be enchanted, augmented, made of silver, etc." (pg 67, Core Rules)
However, the spell Mass: Relic from the Dark and Light sphere has the following line in its description.
"This 10 minute mass magically enhances an item, typically a weapon, in the name of the God of the caster. Once the mass is complete, the object or weapon is made rendered as per the spell and is given a Magic aura." (pg 75, Frag Book)
So what I'm wondering is if, in the context of a Relic spell, a garotte would count as an "object" and therefore be able to be given a magic aura.
