Oh boy what a mess. Ok let me lay some ground rules here. All players were 100% informed that if you did not sign in and out of your shift you would have a partial opt out fee applied to your character. This was mentioned in the opening prelog instructions and reminded many times through the lead up to Warcry. So straight up if you didn't read that and now are complaining that you didn't know, that's on you.

This was enabled for one specific reason and it isn't that we so desperately want your $10. This is because there are some shit people out there that show up to NPC then leave after their first role. They just don't come back and 9 times outta 10 we don't notice because we're busting our asses trying to make game fun. So we implement this policy so that bad players don't get rewarded for doing less work then you, our good players. I couldn't give two shits about your $10. I give many shits that somebody is abusing a system that you're working hard to be a part of it. 

So, with that being said, you were 100% informed. If you did your shift and you forgot to sign out, then come to me with a solution. Do the tiniest bit of leg work here and get a shaper to confirm you were there.  Get our Monster Marshal to say "yeah I remember this person on the last mod of that shift." Send me an email with detailed notes on the role you played and what happened behind the scenes that nobody could know unless they were there. Kieran and I are MORE than happy to waive this fee but we're not going to do the work for you because you forgot or didn't read the instructions. That's on you but not hard to fix. My log team will waive the fee, easy peasy.

If you want to get all "I want to speak to the manager" Karen on us, sure man, go ahead. Rage quit the whole game because you didn't read. I don't think anybody is interested in catering to you. However if you're somebody that couldn't find the NPC sign out sheet because it got moved, were told by a shaper not to bother signing out or just generally got confused and are civil in discourse, we'll have your back. Just give us the answers we need to make it happen. Find us solutions.
