Important notice : starting on June 1st the Underworld LARP store on the website will be automatically adding applicable taxes for purchases of :

- Experience blankets
- Character transfers
- Character unlocks

The amount added will be based on your location, so no one should be overcharged. This system has been implemented for the maps since they first went up for sale and we haven’t had any problems, so we anticipate a smooth changeover.

Up to this point we’ve been covering the tax ourselves, but that’s excessively complicated and causes our accountant to yell at us for a number of reasons. We felt it would be better to be more transparent with tax instead of simply raising the cost of store items to compensate.

We’ll continue to pay the tax on the 3 services above until June 1st.

In addition, to simplify the process of character unlocks and transfers we'll be adding them to the store on the same date. To purchase a character unlock or transfer, simply purchase the service in the store and include in the order note field the character you're paying to unlock or transfer. We'll be updating our "Character Unlock and Transfer" FAQ found in the resources section of the website with additional information.
