Friends,

I am Adjudicator Elija Quintrell of the Citadel and Priest of Kael. Although my rank and title have been disavowed by Rodrick Hale and the false Church of Light, I still beacon.

Full truth, I am now a criminal, hunted down by my own brothers and sisters of the Light. The church has charged me with a multitude of crimes, many of which are true by the law's definition, but know that my judges are unjust.

I send this notice with my messenger to the nearest functioning Skein Gate. I also send it with my prayers.

My life was not always like this.

Three years ago I started noticing inconsistencies within the church. It was never obvious but over time I developed a nagging feeling in the back of my skull that something was off. Little things, like men and women of strong faith being passed up for promotions I believed they earned. Those that did rise in the ranks were not all bad people, but they were not… I don’t know if there is a word… they were not known to me. I am not trying to exaggerate my popularity or importance within the Citadel, or Church in general. I am a soldier in the Light’s army, but those around me that gained ranks fast were not friendly. I could not become friends with them to gain their measure. They started showing traits of impatience and cruelty.

Regardless, strange as it was, it was not unheard of for something like this to happen. Strategies change in the ever evolving war against the dark. What the qualities we look for in today’s leader may change tomorrow. I chalked it up to a simple change in ideology that came far above my pay grade.

But it became more.

As time progressed it was obvious to me that certain people were being moved into positions of power within the Church, including the Citadel. The Church itself is fallible but never in my life would I say this about the Citadel. The Citadel is supposed to be untouchable. We are the cleansing fire when darkness takes hold. To see this beginning to take root in my own order shook me to my core. There were missions of mercy and cleansing that many of us were not asked to be part of. Permission and requests to bring holy justice to places of obvious corruption and malfeasance were denied. Or worse, approved but then given to others to lead and to execute. What became the most strange was the reaction my equals had when I brought it to light. It was ignored. These were my brothers and sisters, people I had fought beside for over two decades. Good light fearing soldiers of the Gods who had saved my life more times than I can count, just ignored me. My warnings and concerns fell upon deaf ears and it struck me as almost supernatural. Like a cloud of compliance had been placed around their senses.

I don’t know why I was immune but did find others. It took some time and I don’t trust this communication by betraying our numbers, but there were others who also saw this impunity spreading like a web. At first we met openly but after the mysterious deaths of a few of us, we started closing ranks. It was then we knew we needed to leave.

The church had become more brazen in their quest for expansion and control. We started to see attacks being made on towns that did not appear to need cleansing. This has always been a contentious subject but some of these towns appeared to offer no evidence of corruption whatsoever. There was another objective and we could not discern what it was.

Before we left we came upon a map of Maud’Madir in a high ranking Bishop’s office. On it were marked many towns. We recognized some of these as targets we were ordered to cleanse or were scheduled to be cleansed. We also knew that at least most of these places were innocent to the crimes they had been charged with. Whatever was happening we understand that these towns were a focal point. If this corrupted Church wished them destruction or worse, then it was our holy duty to protect them. With no other options we left in darkness. Many of us did not make it to our destinations and those brothers and sisters will be missed, but we are here nonetheless and we will shine.

I will not publicly post where I am but, since my arrival, things in the church have only gotten worse. Rodrick Hale is no servant of the Light Gods! How he casts his miracles in their names, I do not know. Why the Gods of light have seemingly abandoned us to his will and desire, I do not know. What I do know is I have faith. I have faith in the Gods but in their apparent absence I have faith in the tenets they stand for. That is enough for now.

Seek out my brothers and sisters, for we are here in many of your towns. If we are not then we are arriving soon. We do not seek power or to lead this rebel church but we will help build it with you. If your town is a member of the Whiteraven Alliance then I beg you to keep your voice silent for now, for the church will hunt us if we are discovered. Make no mistake they will hunt us well past the Alliance borders but it is most dire there. We must bide our time and grow our strength.

To the good hearted people of Maud’Madir and my Greenskin allies in Amaranthia. Will you help us rebuild hope? A safe harbour in the darkness? Not to those who preach falsely in the name of Rodrick Hale and his Church of “Light”, but simply for those with goodness in their hearts? I say the current Church is corrupt! That there is a malignant heart full of taint where once love used to be, and the Gods are blind to it. If such is true, then we must build another. One they can see. A Church of true Justice, Law, Love, and Mercy. A Church to stand against whatever it is that Archbishop Hale leads today. A rebel Church. A Bastion Church.

BOUNTY for Malagant Knight and aspirant

Denizens of Maud'Madir, herein lies a BOUNTY for the final corpses of two individuals. Twenty gold pieces for Raven the Dread Knight and Reid his Necromancer lackey. Together these two slept in our town of Stoneglade, under guise of friendship and our doors were open to them. While they stayed there their evil plans hatched and under our noses they sought and gained the favor of Malagant. They are not to be trusted and definetly not given positions of power in any regard. Through the very tenants they live by, they cannot be trusted. They will do whatever they can in order to see themselves on top and above others, kill who gets in their way and raise all around them. Raven is a Risen who lives mostly in their Drael'Thalan skin, around six feet tall wears all black (shocker), Reid is around six feet also and has orange hair but their most discernable quality is their propencity to be drunk all the time even at the danger to others. Before becomming Dread Knight Raven wielded stilettos with deadly accuracy so approach with caution. Reid is mostly a fool who drinks to much but i am told he possess necromatic magic. Their last known location was the Umberfloe, where a mysterious Cult has risen up in service to Malagant, Kael and Pandora. These two might have joined this Cult or allied themselves with it in order to meet their ends. This cult also has ties to a figure known as the Father, a powerful Lich and possible Vampire. Do youselves and the world a favor and end these two before its too late.

To all of Arthos,

I am Belhaven and I am sending an open call to any Dragon Knights that wish to further empower the Firstborn. I would prefer the guidance of a Knight of Isana but at this point I will accept any Firstborns help. Kaltraxis, the Groundbreaker, the Shepherd, is deep in slumber and MUST be awakened. These lands in the Umberfloe are sorely in need of his guidance, and as such I require a Dragon Knight of ritual caliber to assist me in this noble task. I have undertaken to sacrifice all that I have so that Kaltraxis may once again glide majestically through the earth. Having studied the ways of the gods and dragons, I realize I am but a novice in the ways of the Firstborn and anyone who could provide guidance in person would be a valuable asset, not just to me, but also to the community we are building. I would even go so far as to say that the Firstborn's themselves NEED their brother to awaken and to do this, I need a devout Knight to sacrifice their time to assist me. I cannot offer much in the way of compensation but I am able to offer companionship, hospitality and a desire to better learn the ways of the Firstborn. Not to mention that I am a fantastic cook and I will prepare you a dinner that some kings of men would envy. We have a pack in Mournfall and some of you may know, some may not.

While our land has been corrupted and still needs healing, we are working on healing Nature back to its original state and purge the corruption.

We have at least been able to stop a giant obelisk that was corrupting and killing the lands of Mournfall.

We encourage everyone to gather comes the first month of next spring (May) as to help us heal the lands and find the challenge in the prey around theses lands.

Dunarthos followers are also welcome to help us heal the land around us.

Both Cyndar and his successor have been slain, the war is over. To any of the woad still alone, we are near the settlement of Stoneglade, and will welcome you home with open arms, Red, Blue or black marked, come home, there is a home waiting for you.

Let us not repeat the mistakes of the past, we do not need to fall to infighting, we’ve been given another chance. Those lost have been freed and given peace, the Jhen’Cenere have been given another chance to rise.

I know my words are kind of jumbled and repetitive, it’s been a long week, the long and short, come home, we’re waiting and ready for you.

Attention those of Arthos,

My name is Nora Lupo D'Onore, usually known as Luna Sanguinem, a Woad of the Jhen'Lupus of Lowgarryn, and we require aid.

The people of Stoneglade in the Gerdain region have been preparing for an excursion to the hellstack to put an end to the suffering of my people. We will be travelling via a portal within two weeks' time to put the souls of the fallen to rest, and eliminate the source of this corruption, so the loss of those who came before is not in vain, so those sacrificed and forced into his servitude can rest.

Make no mistake in assuming this is only a woad problem, for we are only the first stone to fall if we fail in our mission, the next targets have already been stated to be the shards of every elf on his quest to become one of the demon princes. Regardless of history, religion, or personal grievances, please, we need help to end this, to ensure as few lives are lost as possible, to get those who can be freed from their cages home, and to put to rest those we can't.

The demons we will be facing alongside the other surviving woad have been created from our fallen kin over the past 1500 years, and greatly outnumber us, we need all the help we can get, whether it be numbers, supplies, scrolls, potions, weapons that are silver quality, or magic ideally as the demons seem mostly unharmed by standard steel or iron, anything will help, even just food and supplies for those gathering for the fight, everything helps, nothing will be wasted.

If you wish for more information, feel free to send letters, and I will reply when I can, with what I can, and if you arrive in person feel free to seek me out near the town of Stoneglade, I am willing to share everything I know for the upcoming fight, to finish this hunt.
